New Online Payment Vendor - Payrix

In October we posted about WePay exiting the payment space. We have used their service for the past 7 years to facilitate online payments in SchoolInsight.

On March 27, their service will end, and customers who wish to continue accepting payments through SchoolInsight will need to migrate to our new provider, Payrix.

 

Payrix was chosen after a rigorous selection process. They’re a good fit for our use case.  We updated our software, and have successfully migrated a small group of early customers to their service.  The remaining customers need to create a Payrix account through SchoolInsight to accept online payments moving forward.

 

The onboarding process is straightforward, but can be time consuming.  Due to banking regulations, all payment processors require a significant amount of organizational and personal information. To get started, fill out the forms at:

District Main > Online Payments > Options > Create Payrix Account

School Main > Online Payments > Options > Create Payrix Account

 

The Payrix Onboarding Guide provides more details on completing the forms.

 

Please start early, the deadline is only three weeks away.  While most customers should be approved for Payrix accounts quickly, it’s possible that some may take a week or two.  We encourage all customers to start filling out forms today.

 

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. We were surprised by WePay’s decision (a leader in the space) as you likely were too. We’ve been working quickly to implement a replacement solution to give customers the maximum time to reduce disruptions.
