Payrix has been enabled

Starting today, WePay’s payment processing service will no longer be available within SchoolInsight. For customers that created a Payrix account, we transitioned online payments to use their new account. Their parents/guardians and employees can continue submitting payments without interruption. The user interface is mostly the same, and many payers will not notice a difference. Our goal is to make the experience seamless for parents/guardians.

How does a parent make an online payment?
What are the available Payrix online payment reports?
The Payrix reports are similar to WePay’s. The first report is Payrix Online Payments which shows settled transactions. Payrix Disbursements shows each disbursement (withdrawal to your bank account) and the underlying online payments. We’re still working on the report for disbursements by account code, which should be available shortly.

The existing WePay reports will continue to function, and customers can view their old data.
Payment processing fees are mostly unchanged. Each transaction costs 2.99% + $0.30. There’s also a fee of $0.25 per disbursement, which is new. To keep costs down, we defaulted customers to weekly disbursements.
Payrix doesn’t round transaction fees to the penny, and calculates them to 5 decimal places. Since disbursements are sent through ACH and can only use dollars and cents, fractions of a penny will rollover from one disbursement to the next. Here’s an article that discusses it in more detail.
